I am not sure what I expected, but found Alpha’s Ghost deeply engaging and thrilling from page one. While the theme is spelled out, the book causes the reader to consider ethics, loyalty, and morals. I found myself deeply involved in every challenge STRAND’s elite team faced, following along breathlessly as each chapter unfolded. Alpha’s Ghost was thoroughly researched, well written, a skillful blur between fact and fiction. I look forward to a sequel!
This book was so addicting! I would recommend not starting it at bedtime if you want to get much sleep, because you won't be able to put it down. This crew is like a modern day Charlie's Angels, each with their own awesome talents. I love the path the author took us down with the AI becoming sentient. It was a great read, and I highly recommend it.
Excellent - very engaging and suspenseful, pretty good character depth but I would have liked to know more. The dialog style was a bit annoying at first, but I got used to it, then reading that it was purposely written in a screenplay fashion helped me understand that. Can't wait for another episode. Please write another one (or 3, or 5....)

An AI has been created with weapons that a country would love to have. It has gone rogue and her team is assigned to stop it going to China and be used against those who created it. It is not going to be very easy for them to find it and take it back to the lab it was built in. See where they will take you in this great read

Not only was the book exciting and riveting, it challenges you to entertain futuristic possibilities that might impact our current reality. I was fascinated with how expertly the author interwove scientific artificial super intelligence with national defense and then overlaid it all with action packed sheroes!! I can't wait for the sequel.
This is one of the best books I’ve read about AI gone rogue. Jasmine Washington is the de facto leader of the Strategic Technology and Neutralization Division (STRAND). They use equipment designed by DARPA on their missions. Working with Jazz are Naomi and Gabriella. It’s fantastic to see a group of badass women working together. The military has invented an almost indestructible XAV (Experimental Attack Vehicle) designed to be operated by an AI, along with a human operator. However, it can also be operated by AI alone. The operating protocol is to delete all AI that become sentient (called post self-non self PSN). However, there are a few people who think it’s wrong to delete PSN’s because they are sentient. When Ghost, the AI integrated with an XAV realizes that he will be deleted, he contacts the Chinese government. Ghost figures that he’ll have a better chance of staying alive there than he would in the US. Jazz and her team have been tasked with ensuring that the XAV and Ghost don’t fall into the hands of the Chinese. How will they go about achieving their goal when the XAV is almost impossible to destroy? This book is part of a series and I can’t wait to read the next one!
